We are extremely proud to announce that Christopher has been selected as one of the 2019 Guggenheim Fellows under the field of General Nonfiction! He is one of 168 Fellows–all scholars, artists, and writers from forty-nine scholarly disciplines and artistic fields, seventy-five different academic institutions, twenty-eight states and the District of Columbia, and two Canadian provinces.
Out of a pool of almost 3000 applicants, the fellows were appointed based on prior achievement and exceptional promise. The John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, established in 1925, offers Fellowships to further the development of scholars and artists by assisting them to engage in research in any field of knowledge and creation in any of the arts, under the freest possible conditions and irrespective of race, color, or creed.
Congratulations again, Chris!
